1.16 Cerro Coso Extends Registration Hours Friday
The Indian Wells Valley Campus will extend its Friday, January 19 registration hours. The College usually closes at noon on Fridays, but on January 19 the College Offices will remain open until 4 p.m. to better assist students wishing to register for the Spring 2007 semester. [more]

1.10 Introducing myBanWeb - A new name for a familiar face
myBanWeb is your portal to your student information, to view grades, pay for classes, register, and more. Also currently known as Coyote Connection, myBanWeb will be the new name, across our college district, for students to access the information system.
   
1.3 CCCC Hires New Director for Mammoth and Bishop Campuses
Cerro Coso Community College is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Deanna Campbell as the new Director of the Eastern Sierra College Center. [more]
   
1.3 CCCC to Administer GED Exams
Cerro Coso Community College will be administering the entire series of tests for the General Education Development (GED) examination on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 20 and 21, 2007. [more]

3.26 Coyote Kitchen New Hours
Beginning Monday, March 26, 2007, the new operating hours will be Monday through Thursday from 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. Your support is needed for continued operation!
   
3.20 myBanWeb Downtime Schedule
myBanWeb will be be unavailable from Friday, March 23rd at 2:00pm through Monday, March 26th at 5:00am in order to perform system maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience.
   
3.19 Auditions for "Coyote Idol" (Mar. 20)
Auditions for "Coyote Idol," Cerro Coso's very own talent show, will be held Tuesday, March 20th at 7:30pm in the Lecture Center. All talents are welcome. The actual show will be held on Friday, March 30 at 7:30 in the Lecture Center. Prizes will be given to the top performers.
   
3.16 Network Outage Tonight -ATTENTION-
Service will be performed on our servers this evening. This maintenance will be performed during a 2-hour period beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday March 16th. During this maintenance work, access to BannerWeb, E-mail, and the College websites will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause.

October has been designated “Transfer Awareness Month.” During October there will be many activities held to help promote transferring to the four-year universities. “We are changing the face of Cerro Coso Community College,” said President Dr. Mary Retterer, as she opened the first ever employers summit. Major employers from the Indian Wells Valley and Mojave converged on Cerro Coso College Friday to talk about employer needs. [more at the Daily Independent]
   
9.12 "What Industry Needs in a Workforce" Employer Summit (Sept. 14th)
CCCC, in partnership with NAWC and Sierra Sands School District, has been awarded a $250,000 grant from the State of California to develop career technical programs in pre-engineering, engineering technology and renewable energy. Part of this grant is funding an Employer Summit scheduled for Friday, September 14, 2007 to identify key skill sets for the workforce of the future in all three industries.  [more]
   
9.10 South Kern Office Hours September 13 – October 8 (see hours below)
The South Kern campus office will have limited hours Thursday September 13 through October 8. If you require immediate assistance, please call the Indian Wells Valley campus (760) 384-6100. Tammy Eberhardt will be at the Edwards office to assist students on September 26th and October 3rd from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The counselor will be in the office on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00p.m. for appointments.
   
9.5 Rush Week
The ASCC is announcing that RUSH WEEK will begin Monday (Dunk Tank & Live Band), Sept. 10th at 11:30 on the West Wing Lawn. Tuesday we will have a speaker, David Kelly.
