Coyotes extend streak to six, then split with Chaffey
The Cerro Coso Coyotes, riding a five-game winning streak and a wave of
confidence, hosted the Chaffey College Panthers in a Saturday afternoon
doubleheader at the Dawg Yard. The games were long and action-packed.
and both teams came away with one victory when it was all said and done;
the Coyotes won the opener 8-5, but dropped a 17-7 decision in the
nightcap.

at Cerro Coso Community College
The newly constructed Solar Photovoltaic Field and the new Learning
resource Center (LRC) will both be formally dedicated on Friday, October
8, 2004 in Ridgecrest, California. The dedication for the Solar
Photovoltaic Field will take place at 10 a.m. The Learning Resource
Center dedication will take place a few hours later at 1:15 p.m.

The 24th Annual College and University Night will take place on Tuesday,

Forces, as well as many of the Cerro Coso departments and programs. All
students interested in transferring are encouraged to attend. |

Nutcracker Ballet, Saturday, December 4 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, December

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival will perform William
Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on Tuesday, November 30th at

and satirical plot, involving two sets of couples whose romantic
intentions are further complicated and confused by their encounters in
an enchanted wood, is readily accessible to students at all levels.

Community Choir Holiday Concert
On Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 7:30pm Cerro Coso Community College
will present the Community Choir Holiday Concert in the Lecture Center.
Admission is free and the public is invited to join Cerro Coso Community
College and fellow community members in celebrating the holiday season.
Holiday themed songs will be sung as well as a sing-along session. |

Narnia Musical
The CCCC Drama Department will present
the musical NARNIA on Friday, December 10th and Saturday, December 11th
at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, December 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the CCCC
Lecture Center. Tickets are $6 for general admission and $5 for
students, seniors, and military. Children 13 and under accompanied by an
adult get in for $3. Tickets are available at the CCCC Business Office
and at Lou's Hallmark. Narnia is based on THE LION, THE WITCH,
AND THE WARDROBE by C. S. Lewis. NARNIA is quite an ambitious
undertaking and the drama students have really been working all semester
long to bring this production to life. Please come out and support our
drama students, and enjoy a whimsical night out! |

ATTENTION
Due to needed relocations of
our server systems it is necessary to take our online class/web/email
servers offline for a brief period of time. A shutdown period beginning
on Saturday, December 11th at 5:00am and ending on Sunday, December 12th
at 12:00pm has been planned. This will affect access to the Cerro Coso
website, email, and Online classes. If you attempt to access your online
class or this website during this time period you will receive a Page
Not Found error message. This will affect your ability to register for
courses during the outage time, so please plan accordingly. We apologize
