Parking on Campus

There is no parking in the fire lanes.  The LRC (dirt) parking lot is by permit only. Please contact John Daly at 384-6636.

LAC Make-Up Testing Policy

As of August 25, 2008 all college exams and quizzes will be proctored in the Learning Assistance Center for the fall semester with faculty supervision.  Please note the following testing times available through December 12, 2008:

Wednesdays, 8:00am – 12:00pm and 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Fridays, 1:00pm – 5:00pm.

Testing is provided by appointment only, no exceptions allowed. If you are new to the campus, please come by and visit us. We are located in the new library facility on the second floor, Room 704.  A member of our staff will be happy to give you a tour and answer your questions.  For information contact Sherri Windish at 384-6161.

Smoking Areas on Campus

State law for smoking around campus must be at least 30 feet away from any entry door of all buildings.  Please be courteous to others.

Job Development Office

Do you need help finding a job or work study? You could be in luck! 
 
The Career Development Center can help with:

• Finding out what job you want

• Resume writing

• Job interview skills

• Interview role-playing AND

• Getting you in touch with part-time, full-time, temporary, permanent, or summer employment opportunities (on and off campus)

Program Guidelines:

• Must be or have been enrolled at Cerro Coso

• At least 18 years of age

• In Good Academic Standing

• Must maintain a min 2.0

• Must complete consent form and application

• Must complete a resume for file

Students are referred to employers for interviews as positions become available. Contact Jennifer Schwerin, Job Development Specialist in the Career Center Room 224 or call 384-6219 for information.
